DM Mid-age (Danish National Mid-amateur Championship)
About
The DM Mid-age, also known as the Danish National Mid-amateur Championship, is a men's amateur golf tournament organized by the Danish Golf Union. The format consists of stroke play over 54 holes, typically played across three rounds. The tournament usually starts with a field of up to 102 participants, with a cut made after the second round reducing the field. In case of a tie after the final round, the winner is determined by a sudden-death playoff starting at hole 18 until a champion emerges. Eligibility requires amateur status as defined by the R&A, with a handicap limit of around 2.0 to 5.0, though exceptions can be made by the Championship Committee. The Committee responsible for the championship includes designated tournament directors and referees who set and enforce competition terms, including rules on preferred lies, starting times, and playoff procedures
