Dallas Amateur Championship

The Dallas Amateur Championship is a major regional amateur event in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. It features three rounds (54 holes) of stroke play, typically held in late July. Players qualify via multiple 18-hole qualifier tournaments throughout the spring (dates such as May 31, June 8, June 22, June 27, July 12) and then advance to the championship field. Entry requires amateur status, a valid GHIN/Handicap Index®, and successful registration through the foundation’s system. The field draws a strong competitive regional mix and has a structured qualifying path.
