Description

The Czech International Senior Amateur Championship is organized by the Czech Republic Golf Federation and is held at Golf Club Karlovy Vary. This championship is open to senior amateur golfers aged 50 and above, with separate categories for seniors (50+), lady seniors (50+), master seniors (70+), and master lady seniors (65+). The format is stroke play over three rounds of 18 holes each, following the Rules of Golf and local regulations set by the championship committee. After the second round, there is a cut in all categories, and in the event of a tie, a sudden-death playoff decides the winner. Handicap limits apply differently across categories, generally ranging from 16.0 to 24.0 depending on age and gender. The field typically includes up to 150 entries with a maximum of 50 foreign players. Qualification requires players to be members of affiliated golf clubs with certified handicaps under the EGA system. Entry fees cover the championship rounds, a welcome drink, gala dinner, and refreshments on the course.
