Description

The CGA Western Chapter Championship is an annual regional amateur golf tournament for the western portion of Colorado, held under the auspices of the Colorado Golf Association. The event is contested over 54 holes of stroke play (three rounds) in both an Open division and a Senior division. The field is comprised of CGA-member amateurs residing in or representing clubs in the Western Chapter region; entrants must hold an active handicap index and meet the applicable chapter eligibility criteria. Typical host sites rotate among championship-level courses on the Western Slope—recent editions have been held at Battlement Mesa Golf Club in Parachute, Colorado.
