Description

The Championnat de France Par Equipes - Trophée Brigitte Varangot is a prestigious French national team golf championship organized by the French Golf Federation (FFGolf). The event features women's teams competing in a combination of stroke play qualifying rounds followed by match play knockout stages. Teams are composed of three players who compete over two rounds of stroke play (18 holes per round), where the two best scores per day count toward the team total. The top eight teams after qualification advance to the match play finals, which determine the national champion. The remaining teams compete in consolation matches for ranking and division placement. The tournament typically includes around 16 to 20 elite teams representing top French golf clubs, who qualify through regional competitions or rankings.
