Championnat de France Minimes & Cadets

The Championnat de France Minimes & Cadets 2025 is a premier youth golf championship organized by the French Golf Federation. It is open to amateur golfers of French nationality who qualify through their regional or inter-regional leagues or by national youth merit rankings. The age categories include U12 (Minimes) and U14 (Cadets). The format combines stroke play and match play: the first two days involve stroke play qualification rounds of 36 holes (18 holes each day), with the top 32 players advancing to match play stages held over subsequent days. Match play rounds consist of 18-hole head-to-head matches culminating in a final and playoff for third place. The event draws approximately 90 boys and 32 girls, with strict eligibility and registration requirements via the French Golf Federation’s online portal.
