Central Rift Junior Open
About
The Central Rift Junior Open is a junior golf tournament organized for boys and girls across different age categories, typically played over two days using the stroke play format. The event includes multiple categories based on age and sometimes handicap, with 18 holes played each day for the main divisions and fewer holes for younger categories. The tournament follows the Rules of Golf as approved by R&A, with a cut possibly applied after the first round in some categories at the discretion of the tournament committee. Ties for first place are decided by sudden death playoffs, while other ties use scorecards’ last holes as tiebreakers. The event is managed by a tournament committee responsible for draw making and playing conditions, with tees assigned according to categories.
