Description

The Carolinas Mid-Amateur Championship is an annual event for male amateur golfers aged 25 or older who maintain residence in North Carolina or South Carolina. The tournament is contested over 54 holes of stroke play (three rounds), with a cut typically made to the low 60 scores plus ties after the first two rounds. The field size is targeted at 132 competitors. Entry is achieved via exemption or by sectional qualifying; the handicap index cap for entry is 9.9 and participants must be members in good standing of a club affiliated with the CGA.
