Campeonato Nacional de Aficionados

El Campeonato Nacional de Aficionados is Peru’s most important national amateur golf championship, organized each year by the Federación Peruana de Golf. The event typically features an 18-hole stroke play qualifier, which determines the top-ranked competitors in the Scratch (Open), Ladies, and Mid-Amateur categories who advance to a match play bracket. The final rounds use match play to crown the national champions, and the tournament typically attracts Peru’s leading amateur golfers—usually 30–50 per category—qualified through ranking, performance in local championships, or direct application.
