The event is typically conducted over two days, consisting of 54 holes of stroke play (36 holes on the first day and 18 holes on the second day). Team scores are calculated by summing the four best scores out of five players each round, with both team and individual competitors. The tournament usually features about 6 to 12 collegiate teams, including NCAA Division I programs, competing in a competitive format. Teams qualify by invitation and based on conference affiliations or regional rankings.
