Bavarian Youth Open Girls
About
The Bavarian Youth Open Girls competition is organized by the Bayerischer Golfverband e.V. and is played over 54 holes of stroke play during three rounds. The event is for female amateurs born in 2006 or later, with separate teeing grounds from the boys. Typically, about 21 girls (and ties) qualify to play the final round after two rounds have been completed. The event usually starts with a practice round on Monday, with the first, second, and third rounds played Tuesday through Thursday. The winner is decided by the lowest gross score over the 54 holes, with a sudden death playoff if necessary. The competition is handicap-relevant (HCPI), aiming to promote youth golf development at a regional international level.
