Bash in the Boro

The Bash in the Boro is an annual men’s NCAA Division I golf tournament hosted by Georgia Southern University, a member of the Sun Belt Conference. The event takes place at the Georgia Southern University Golf Course in Statesboro, Georgia, featuring a 54-hole stroke play format conducted over two days, with 36 holes played on the first day and 18 holes on the second. This tournament draws a competitive field of around 14 teams from various conferences, such as Jacksonville State, Campbell, Richmond, Appalachian State, Augusta, Florida A&M, Gardner-Webb, George Washington, Marshall, North Carolina A&T, and Winthrop, as well as others from the region. The Bash in the Boro serves as a key fall competition, providing participating programs the opportunity for strong early-season performance on a par-72 championship course and valuable preparation for the spring postseason.
