Description

The Arizona Senior Amateur Championship is a premier competition for male amateur golfers aged 55 and older (with a “Legends” division for age 65+) held annually in Arizona. In 2025, the event was staged August 4-6 at The Raven Golf Club in Phoenix and featured a 54-hole stroke-play format across three rounds. Typical qualification requires membership in AZ GOLF, an active USGA Handicap Index, and registration during the open entry window; full field sizes vary (the 2025 edition included approximately 51 players in the senior division). As one of the key age-division championships administered by AZ GOLF, the event highlights top senior amateurs in the state and contributes toward Player-of-the-Year standings for senior divisions.
