Description

The Arizona Junior Boys State Championship is organized by the Junior Golf Association of Arizona (JGAA) and is recognized as the state's premier junior event for boys ages 14–18. The championship is played over 72 holes of stroke play across four days, with a cut after 36 holes to the low 50% and ties for the final two rounds. The field is generally 100–144 of Arizona’s best junior golfers, who qualify by maintaining JGAA membership, having a scoring average of 75 or below over six consecutive rounds, and through JGAA performance and points rankings. The event follows strict eligibility, conduct, and handicap requirements, and is played at a rotating selection of top venues in Arizona.
