Description

The Alberta Women's Amateur Championship is organized by Alberta Golf and is held annually as the province's premier women's amateur event. The tournament is usually played over three rounds of stroke play, hosted at courses such as Leduc Golf & Country Club, and typically attracts a competitive field of approximately 60 to 80 participants, including top-ranked women amateurs from across Alberta. Qualification is open to those meeting a handicap index requirement (generally 10.0 or lower) and registration is managed directly through Alberta Golf, with priority given to provincial and club rankings. The event emphasizes sportsmanship and high-level amateur competition in a stroke play format each year.
