Description
The Alabama Boys’ State Junior Championship is an annual tournament for male amateur junior golfers who are Alabama residents and meet the eligibility criteria set by the Alabama Golf Association (AGA). The 2025 edition, marking the 80th playing of the event, took place June 17-19 at Wynlakes Golf & Country Club in Montgomery. Winners earn significant exemptions and prestige within the state junior golf landscape, with past champions including future collegiate and professional players. The Championship serves as one of Alabama’s highest-level junior events, giving rising players a chance to compete for state-level honors and build momentum for college golf or further junior competition.
