Absa UGC Captain's Bell Tournament
About
The Absa UGC Captain's Bell Tournament is an annual golf event held at the Uganda Golf Club in Kitante, Kampala. The 2025 tournament took place from May 15 to May 17 and featured both professional and amateur golfers competing in a stroke play format over four rounds. Sponsored by Absa Bank Uganda with a significant sponsorship package of UGX 179 million, the event offers a professional cash prize of UGX 20 million. The tournament is a long-standing tradition that brings together top golfers in Uganda and promotes golf development in the country. Notably, Deo Akope won the 2025 professional title with a record-breaking 11-under-par total.
