The Abierto de la Ciudad de Rosario is one of the most traditional and prestigious golf championships in Argentina, with its origins dating back to 1937. It is organized by the Federación de Golf del Sur del Litoral and held annually on the long weekend in August. A unique feature of this tournament is that players compete across three rounds on three different courses: the Jockey Club de Rosario, Rosario Golf Club, and Club S. y D. Bartolomé Mitre de Pérez. The field often exceeds 450 players, making it a large-scale event in the Argentine amateur golf scene.
