Description

The Aberto da Cidade de Curitiba (“Open of the City of Curitiba”) is a historic and prestigious event in Brazilian amateur and professional golf, conducted by the Federação Paranaense e Catarinense de Golfe (FPCG) and held annually at Graciosa Country Club in Curitiba, Paraná. The 2025 edition marks the tournament’s 75th anniversary and will be staged over three weekends (April 5–19), divided into three rounds (54 holes) of stroke play for most categories and 72 holes for select top divisions, with separate stages for men and women. Entry is open to amateurs and professionals meeting the FPCG’s ranking and handicap criteria, with fields routinely featuring 120+ competitors across age and skill groupings chosen via ranking, club nomination, or direct registration. The event provides points toward FPCG, national, and international rankings, and stands as a focal point for golf development in southern Brazil.
